The Story of Beulah Retreat and Conference Center
4435 Pleasant Hill Church Rd. Siler City, NC 27344

Dr. Kenneth Edwards (deceased), a military Chaplain who was affectionately known as Chap, and his wife, Sister Rosali committed their lives to serving the Body of Christ. Their initial work began with soldiers and their families, but later expanded to pastors, church leaders, college students and anyone they met. Their work resulted in thousands coming to Christ and being equipped for Spirit-filled ministry.
In the early 70’s, they relocated to North Carolina, the Edwards sensed the direction of the Lord to purchase land to establish a Christian retreat center to be used as a place of mending and healing for the Body of Christ. Stepping out on faith, the Edwards sold their own home to purchase this 77-acre property we know as Beulah. In keeping with their vision, Beulah has housed a small residential community, served as a facility for retreats and camps for adults and youth, a training site for Christian workers, a respite for international missionaries, and a safe haven for persons seeking respite and healing from traumatic and stressful life situations.
Currently, under the leadership of Dr. R. Neal Siler and the Board of Directors, the ministry of Beulah continues to grow as we vision forward for ministry expansion and capital improvements. In addition to the retreat house and outdoor pavilion pictured above, Beulah includes 3 four-bedroom houses, a cottage, and two private residences. You are invited to partner with us in this amazing ministry of restoration and healing. For more information, please contact: Sharon E.
